Dubai Design Days 2015 happened to be the 10-year anniversary of Studio Nada Debs. To celebrate this occasion, the studio showcased the 10 iconic Nada Debs creations over the past 10 years.
The challenge: how to present the 10 pieces in the booth at the exhibition? How to present the pieces in a new light, different from how they are usually seen?
The outcome: the 10 pieces were 3D printed, keeping the form of the items as the core essence of each piece. The little prints were then photographed by the re-known photographer Gilbert Hage.
The result: worldwide recognition of the success of our presence in the exhibition. Thousands of dollars worth of press coverage with articles in designboom.com and khaleejtimes.com amongst others.
The centerpiece of the booth was also an iconic Nada Debs piece: the curved arabesque armchair that not only was an attention grabber, but also initiated conversation between the people who were intrigued to try it.
